Alessandra Alvarez, BSN, BHSA, RN, OPN-CG

Alessandra serves as a patient advocate and liaison between patients and the multidisciplinary team. She collaborates with members of the healthcare team to positively impact patient outcomes and experiences, assisting with coordination of care through their entire cancer continuum.

As a patient navigator, Alessandra has covered multiple tumor sites including GI, pediatrics, hematology, neurology, dermatology, and sarcoma; however, her specialty is working with head and neck cancers, including endocrine malignancies.

Alessandra believes in giving back to her community and has volunteered for multiple events including free head and neck cancer screenings and connecting her patients with free dental services to avoid delays in care for concurrent chemo/radiation.

Alessandra received her bachelor’s degree from Florida International University in 2018 and her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing in 2022.
